These are large or small blocky or oval tramadol without shapes the sculptor constructed of silken finish cedar or welded steel. Yet they cannot be mistaken for conventional artworks. Situated against dark toned walls, several of the larger pieces would seem out of place in a commercial gallery. And they're designed to create a peaceful, stress free environment from what appear at first glance to be just tramadol without shapes. Taken together, Fuhrman's works, the walls, and the low light levels have the desired calming effect. Rosemont College's Lawrence Gallery, Rosemont. To Nov. 29. Mon Fri 9 8. Free. 610 526 2970. Gratz Gallery. Gratz's seventh "19th and 20th Century American Paintings" show continues a yearly autumn tradition. This spirited miscellany of 81 mostly oils by 52 artists seldom strays far from this gallery's three specialties: Pennsylvania impressionists, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts linked artists, and the "Philadelphia Ten," a group of women who painted here between the two world wars. Standouts include a meticulous coastal beach scene by William T. Richards of the kind that earned him fame in the 1870s. Edward Moran's robust fleet of Viking ships churning across the seas is another memorable work by a Philadelphian, but one without Academy ties. New Hope artist Charles Rosen's handsome wintry expanse of riverside landscape in Delaware Quarries resonates here, while Rockport painter Emile Gruppe's choice and robust Winter Landscape (1924) also makes a strong impression. Leading off for the "Philadelphia Ten" are New Hope painter Mary Elizabeth Price with a very likable and characteristic sunny zinnia floral and Fern Coppedge with an especially attractive Lambertville snow scene. Some of Bruce Hirsch's photos of Nigerians in tribal attire and scenes of Jerusalem markets and of artisans have the blunt strength of formal portraits. Otherwise, empathy is Hirsch's forte, guiding his lens to produce his best pictures. Nothing dramatic happens here, but we sense that each likeness belongs to a person who goes about his or her business with a good deal of purpose. There's something warm and genial about Hirsch's loosely worked manner in these color photos. The best ones have the brevity of sketches. Color is often the key in the tramadol without and realistic digital photos by Jonathan Nissanov, like Hirsch a Philadelphian. It's noticeable when his florals show a tendency to blanch colors, arriving at a mysterious neutral glow. More intriguing, however, are images combining bold color and complex patterns coherently, because these extend further his digital range. The cultivated "innocence" of such a studied approach rarely works against Nissanov here. Pagus Gallery, 619 W Washington, Norristown. To Nov. 23. Tue Fri 10 4.
