Vallejo, also formerly of County Line Trailer Park, pled guilty to attempted criminal possession of a controlled 150 tramadol as a class C felony Oct. 15. A resident of Mexico, he faces up to 5 1/2 years in state prison and a $15,000 fine for having approximately half an ounce of cocaine on his possession the same day, Nov. 28, 2006. Before Lopez entered his plea, his attorney Larry Koss told Judge James Punch that Lopez had requested another public defender. The issue was soon dropped when Lopez said he would remain with Koss. Lopez will appear in court for sentencing Feb. 25. Vallejo is scheduled for sentencing Jan. 7. In other news: SENTENCED: Charles D. Lamont, 45, formerly of Murdock Road, Medina, was sentenced to 1 2/3 to 5 years in state prison after pleading guilty to driving while intoxicated Sept. 17. Lamont was originally charged with two counts of DWI as a D felony and aggravated unlicensed operation. According to the District Attorney’s office, he has a history of multiple DWI and felony offenses. In addition to prison, Lamont will face a series of surcharges. Punch revoked his license and vehicle registration. “This may very well be the worst criminal record I’ve ever seen,” Punch said. ARRAIGNMENT: Nicholas E. Cuccaro was arraigned on charges of driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child. According to his attorney, Larry Koss, Cuccaro has one prior DWI. Cuccaro entered a plea of not guilty on all counts and was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in court again Dec. 17 and Jan. 28. “I will release you with the understanding... you don’t consume any alcohol,” Punch said. WARRANT: Bobby L.
